Edited Volume

Manuscripts are invited for an edited volume inspired by topics presented at the 2023 Hispanic Linguistics Symposium. Scholars are invited to contribute their original and unpublished research. We have been in contact with the editors of the Issues in Hispanic and Lusophone Linguistics series, published by John Benjamins Publishing Company, who have expressed interest in publishing this edited volume.

Timeline for Publication:

  • February 1, 2024: Manuscripts due
  • April 1, 2024: Double-blind reviews completed
  • May 1, 2024: Notification of acceptance
  • July 1, 2024: Corrections/revisions due
  • August 1, 2024: Book manuscript turned in to publisher

February 1 is a firm deadline for initial submission, intended to allow authors time to write and revise their papers while also expediting their publication. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the editors and two external reviewers. Publication is anticipated for fall 2024.

Manuscripts, including references and tables, should be between 7,000 and 10,000 words, use APA style, and be written in English. Authors must carefully follow the John Benjamins Publishing Company Style Guide.
